Accessibility mode

To switch on accessibility mode, go to Settings in the top right, then select Profile.
Select Enable Accessibility Mode to set e-books are set as machine-readable text, with images and links labelled with text alternatives for screen reader use.
Select I agree to ProQuest’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service and Save Changes.
Once turned on, the platform’s will be machine readable; then screen readers can then be used to read the text on the screen and control navigation.

OpenDyslexic typeface

The ProQuest interface can be set to OpenDyslexic font to make the site easier to read for users with dyslexia.
To switch to the OpenDyslexic font go to Settings in the main menu in the top right then select Profile
The user can choose to have both the platform and the e-book to be displayed using OpenDyslexic font by selecting Enable Accessibility Mode as well as Use OpenDyslexic typeface.
To navigate the text in this mode you should use the Go to Next Page link at the bottom of each section of text or use the subsection navigation on the left.
