New titles coming on September 1st 2019
New e-books
We are very excited to share with you the new titles that we have procured on a three year licence, from 1st September 2019 – 31st August 2022. We worked together with our focus group to procure a new set of titles that reflect the needs of the FE sector, and also to decide which of the expiring titles to extend.

Expiring e-books
As you are aware, each year some of our titles come out of licence. Details of which titles will be coming out of licence throughout 2019 can also be found on sheets 2, 3 and 4 of the spreadsheet. These sheets detail which titles will expire permanently in July, August and October 2019.
The final sheet details the licences which we have extended. We have extended the licences of 11 BTEC titles for one more year, until 31st August 2020. We have extended the licences of 2 A Level titles until 31st August 2022.

The team are very excited to share the new A level subject areas that we have expanded into this year:

- Economics
- English literature
- Modern foreign languages (French, Spanish and German)
- Performing arts
- Law
- Mathematics
- Music
- Philosophy
Expanded provision
Furthermore, we have significantly expanded provision in the following areas:
- Geography A Level
- Media studies A Level
- Politics A Level
- Sociology A Level
- Updated SQA tiles to reflect 2018 updates to Higher English and Maths
- Performing arts vocational titles
- Newly published vocational titles in education and childcare
