JUSP Webinar: 13th November 2018
Good morning,
JUSP (Journal Usage Statistics Portal) is a Jisc service that gathers journal, book, database and platform usage statistics from publishers and suppliers on behalf of libraries and presents these in a single interface. JUSP is available to all Jisc member further education institutions and there currently are around 60 organisations participating.
If you would like to find out more about JUSP you can view a recording of the ‘JUSP for further education’ webinar which ran in July. The recording is available from: https://jusp.jisc.ac.uk/events-training/.
The webinar provides an introduction to JUSP from the further education perspective and was aimed at those managing electronic resources in further education libraries and learning resource centres. The session covered:
- How usage statistics are used within FE libraries and learning resource centres (LRCs)
- What JUSP does and where it fits in
- What JUSP does and does not cover
- How JUSP could help you
- Where to find out more information
If your college is already participating and you are looking for a refresher, or you are new to using JUSP, you may also be interested in our upcoming webinar on Tuesday 13th November: ‘Getting started with JUSP’.
